Benefits of an Energy Efficient HVAC

An energy-efficient HVAC offers an abundance of benefits for anyone who owns a home or commercial property.

Save Money: The right high-efficiency HVAC system for your home or business will literally pay for itself in a few years. An older HVAC will operate at only 65 percent efficiency. This means that 35 percent of the energy it uses is simply lost. A new, energy-efficient HVAC, on the other hand, operates at 90 percent efficiency.

Variable Speed Technology: Updates to how HVACs handle air have resulted in systems that modulate their performance to maintain even temperatures throughout a structure. Airflow also becomes more consistent, and the HVACs will even work to control indoor humidity.

Longer Life: An energy-efficient HVAC’s ability to modulate its airflow means it turns on and off less. This saves significant wear on the system and allows it to faithfully serve for significantly longer than an older HVAC.

Programmable Thermostats: A major perk of newer HVACs, programmable thermostats now come standard on most high-efficiency models. These thermostats allow for an incredible amount of control over the HVAC’s operation. Rooms can receive differing amounts of airflow, and the system can automatically lower or increase its production throughout the day.

If you’re in need of quality AC repair or installation of a new unit by knowledgeable professionals at reasonable prices and in a timely manner, call Mission Critical. I’ve tried several other HVAC companies over the past 10 years for my last AC unit - the service and price quotes ranged from awful to pretty good. Last week, I was in need of a new AC unit installation and stumbled across Mission Critical via a Google search. They had a high rating and none of the previous companies that I’d used really wowed me so I figured I’d give this company a try. Glad I did! From start to finish, I felt they were trustworthy, genuinely cared about doing quality work, had reasonable pricing, and were patient when I asked a bazillion questions about the new unit options. It was also an absolute pleasure speaking with their office assistant. She was cheerful, patient, and followed through on what she said she’d do within the timeframe she said it’d be done. Last, their optional maintenance service plan is reasonably priced, especially compared to local competitors and the return on the “investment” will be well worth the peace of mind offered by its coverage. Thank you, Mission Critical!
